The biggest argument against raw feeding is "Bacteria". And it is true—raw meat contains bacteria. But did you know your dog's stomach acid is pH 1-2 (highly acidic), capable of destroying Salmonella and E. coli that would make a human sick? The real risk is to YOU, the human handler.
The Temperature Danger Zone
Bacteria double in number every 20 minutes between 40°F and 140°F. Your goal is to keep food OUT of this zone.

The 3-Step Sanitization Protocol
🧊
1. Flash Freezing
Wild game or pork should be frozen for 3 weeks before feeding to kill parasites (Trichinosis). Most commercial raw food comes pre-flashed.
🥣
2. Stainless Steel Only
Never use plastic bowls. Plastic develops micro-scratches that harbor bacteria. Use Stainless Steel or Ceramic, and wash hot/soapy after EVERY meal.
🧼
3. The 10% Vinegar Rule
Wipe counters with a vinegar solution or pet-safe disinfectant immediately after prepping. Do not let meat juices sit.
